Saw Banksia with Seedpod - Banksia serrata - these conical flowers are well known and loved in Australia especially with their association with the Australian Children's book author and artist - May Gibbs. She used the seedpods, as she did many other native Australian wildflowers, to create the characters and illustrations of the "Big Bad Banksis men" in her books Snugglepot and Cuddlepie.
